A region of superlatives awaits you

The DreiWelten Region offers a varied history, contemporary culture and living Alemannic customs. Cross-border highlights and fantastic attractions promise a varied and relaxing holiday. Visit the Ländle region and neighbouring Switzerland. Enjoy one of the warmest regions in Germany.
Balance 2021 after the first 100 days
The DreiWelten Card has now been in existence for over 100 days. According to the publisher, the balance was extremely positive. The participating hosts have handed over more than 15,000 cards to their guests. And all in all, holidaymakers have used them almost 20,000 times. With them, the visitors got to know the advantages and attractions of the Three Worlds Region better.
The cardholders took advantage of both smaller local offers and the highlights of the region. This results in quite a good mix. One of the main attractions was the Solemar in Bad Dürrheim. Since the card was launched on 1 July 2021, almost 10,000 visitors have visited the baths with the free DreiWelten Card.
Other highlights were:
Triberg Waterfalls
Sauschwänzlebahn
Boat trips on the Rhine Falls
Birds of prey and owl park in Triberg
Play barn in Unterkirnach
World of crystals
Black Forest Museum
Narrenschopf
Many guests were not even aware of the DreiWelten Card and were pleasantly surprised. But word is slowly spreading more and more. Most guests stay four nights, which has a positive effect on the region.
The start of the card got off to a rocky start. Corona first thwarted the planned date of 1 April 2021. When the time finally came on 1 July, tourism was slow to get going after the lockdown. Hosts and service partners initially struggled with the hygiene concepts and at the same time had to adjust to the new card and its advantages. But despite the adverse circumstances, it worked out flawlessly.
A small shortcoming of the map was that it lacked an English translation, as many foreign guests visit the region, but this should change with the winter season. The offer is growing overall, which concerns both the hosts and the service partners. They recognise the advantage and are convinced of the benefits. The city of Rottweil is a new addition to the DreiWelten Region.
The DreiWelten Card makes the region attractive and at the same time it grows together. It’s great that offers from Switzerland are also included. Especially the completely free attractions allow visitors to really enjoy their holiday – at any time of the year.
DreiWelten Citizen Card
The DreiWelten Card is not just for tourists. Local residents can purchase the DreiWelten BürgerCard and thus get to know their homeland better. The new DreiWelten BürgerCard is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase or start date for residents of the DreiWelten Region. You can buy the DreiWelten BürgerCard here in the DreiWelten Shop.
Sporting experiences for young and old
